Mail not synching

I'm not sure why but my Gmail has stopped syncing. It used to go off all the time! I have a small business so its imperative that my email be current. I have to go in and refresh it constantly. My setting have never changed but it gas just stopped. Any ideas?

Go to settings- choose applications then choose manage applications - choose all applications and scroll down to Gmail and open it- choose stop application then clear cache then clear data. Exit manage applications and open Gmail. It should resync.

If it still doesn't sync properly go to settings - accounts & sync- click on your Gmail account to open and make sure that the Gmail account is set to sync

I have/had this issue. The above fixes work, but it seemed only temporarily. I'm not sure what's causing it, but one fix was to turn off syncing, then turn it back on... Usually made email start syncing again for a week or two at which point it would stop again... So I now use a work around:

Every night at 2am (as long as the phone is charging since that means I'm most likely asleep) it turns sync off automatically (with locale) and then back on 10 minutes later.

It's a work around, and I'd rather have an actual fix, but it seems to be working so far.

Tried that and even got a new 4G card to no avail.

Anyone having this problem flashed the leaked 904?
Really seems to have improved the connections and handoffs with all of my software.... Or you could just wait for the release. Should come pretty quickly now.
