Loss of sound on RAZR

I woke up this morning and my notifications were at like 1/4 normal sound and no music plays through my external speaker. All the volumes are up all the way. Any suggestions??

I have the same problem in almost new (1,5 months) motorola razr. I didnt modify anything and noticed lack of sound in mobile speakers. Does any one know the reason?

I have the same problem. Ever since upgrading to ICS I frequently loose all sound on my Droid Razr. The only way (I am sure there are others) I have of getting the sound back is to go to the built-in Alarm & Timer app and play a ringtone. That works for getting my sound back for all other apps that use sound. This is a bug that should be fixed. Does Android issue anything like service packs or updates to fix bugs?

I had the same problem. Let the battery drain and the phone shut down...like the ole pull the battery trick. Plugged it back in, recharged and the sound worked. Nothing like a hightech solution.
