motorola droid headphone jack problem

I use computer speakers and plug em into my droids headphone jack when listening to music and when I unplug them, droid makes no sounds. Even when I call, I get no receiver sounds. No sound from music either and volume is maxxed. But when I plug in the speakers again, all is fine. I have to restart the phone to get sound back to normal.

Big bug or phone problem?
