Problems with the Headphone Jack

calamity

When I plug my headphones out after listening to music, the ringer and the receiver volumes fail to revert back to their original places (they're still trying to come through the headphone jack). This use to happen occasionally but now it happens all the time. I have to cut my phone off and then on again to get it to work properly. It's very annoying. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have this problem too. It sucks a lot. I just don't think they anticipated this much headphone jack use. It worked fine at first, but the more I use it, the worse it gets. But I had this exact same problem with the Blackberry Storm. I guess they both use the same flawed components.

I found that hitting speaker phone will let you do the call, or i'll have to jam headphones in. This issue really sucks and i'd like to find a fix for it..

Sounds like a defect, consider a warranty replacement? BB Storms used to do this all the time, and it was a function of poorly soldered connections inside the phone.
