Froyo MFLOPS

Just wondering where I stand and what the averages are...
Almost 15.9 @ 1ghz on a p3 kernel for me. Does that sound about right? Anything I can do to improve that?

Wow! I am running the new froyo rom, and I decided to see exactly how much faster it is than 2.1, and I got a 16 MFLOPS at 1Ghz, as opposed to 8.2 MFLOPS. Anyone else see such a jump in speed?

I scaled back my CPU to 900Mhz last night since it was eating battery at 1.1Ghz.

At 900Mhz I'm getting in the 14's on Linpack.
Not bad a'tall

About identical to the scores I've gotten.

I don't know, though. Still seems a bit sluggish, maybe because it's a hacked version or maybe coming from BB0.7 to BB1.1 to Froyo I got a bad install. The Droid's internal task manager doesn't seem to work that well - I see a lot of programs continuing to run and "coming back to life" immediately after I kill them. Probably a combination of those programs not being updated for Froyo, yet.

Seems to possibly be a ram issue (I am now CURSING that 256mb limit - how dumb). OK, not dumb - brilliant - since it will force me to upgrade when as soon as the next gen comes out with more ram.
