After a few days getting used to the RAZR, downloading some apps, using smart actions as suggested by members of this forum, I think I have a very good device! The best one yet! and I had the Iphone, Droid X, and Bionic as of recent. The key is managing the battery and working with the DATA that is "gettable", (Wifi or Cellular) Once I understood the limitations and work arounds its been easier to work with.

I'm with you on this. I honestly don't know of a better mobile device. Once you get your battery settings worked out this thing is powerful. I highly suggest getting a cardock, helps with the battery problem and makes the best use out of it.

IMHO this is definately a keeper. I find it amusing going to the Rezound and Nexus forums and they are CONSTANTLY bashing it. I'm sorry but this thing is just fine for me. The build quality is ridiculous, the battery is now outstanding after a week of having the phone, it's fast as hell and I can barely feel it in my pocket. Just to name a few...

People will bash any phone. They manufacture different models for that reason; we all want something different.

My thoughts exactly, the Galaxy Nexus looks just like a revamped Nexus S with ICS. At least it shows on the Razr that Moto put some thought into it. As long as Samsung keeps making the Nexus it'll always have that plasticky/cheap feel to it. Props to Moto, they've hit a home run with this one.

Nothing special about that nexus..except software and the buttons on the screen make the screen a whole lot smaller..I am loving this razr..and once it gets ics it will be even better...

I've lost faith in motorola. Their complete disregard for quality control and their failure to build something as simple as a camera for the past two years killed it for me. The Razr is just like the Bionic; this time it's a turd wrapped in kevlar with idiotic marketing.

It's camera is a POS (look at the comparison videos on YouTube with the Rezound). Built quality, laughable. Dropped from 4ft and it's screen shattered. I'll take my chances with the "plasticy" Nexus any day.

I agree completely. I am getting phenomenal battery life out of this phone. I haven't even bothered with the smart actions yet either.

The build quality is second to none and I find it sexy as hell. I was planning on getting the nexus but now that I see just how good this phone really is I am keeping this bad boy! Besides getting ICS in few months will be icing on the cake and give me something to soon forward to.

Laughable? haha ok guy, one video of some moron dropping their phone on concrete is hardly an indication of build quality, why don't you hold it in your hands. I sumise that not only the screen would shatter on the Nex but the whole damn thing. Regardless, have fun with it when it finally drops Q1 of 2012 while we are having fun with our Razrs. Be sure you wrap that toy up in a condom (Invisible Shield) or that cheap, shiny plastic will scratch first time you put it on a surface other than a pillow.

I have been very happy with the battery life. It is better than my X was. This is a great phone.

Juice defender, smart actions and a few other tweaks and my battery life is really improving...
