Liberty 1.5 Known Issues

So I spoke to him again and apparently he did not use backup assistant on his Env. Any thoughts on retrieving contacts?

guess i want to bump this question as his contacts are important to him.

Liberty toolbox> liberty mods> build props> lcd density. Also in droid overclock in the build prop settings. Stock is 240 for the beloved droid x

Thank you, you were absolutely right. Apparently the default for this ROM is 235. I (re)set it to 240, and the bar has been removed and all is well in the land of Mint.com-taking-up-the-full-screen-dom. Very much appreciated!

Don't know if this is a Liberty 1.5/Metamorph incompatibility or not. I can change anything through MM except the battery icons. I've tried 3 different battery schemes and none of them worked. Changing it through the Toolbox works, though. Thoughts? Thank you.

No BA and no sync with gmail contacts for your friend..? The env is an android phone correct? Unless manually exported from the contact list previously and saved as a file to sd card or comp, these are the only methods I know of for restoring contacts

I don't think the Env is an Android. But he does have the Env still so I guess he isn't totally hosed.

Moved my GF from an env touch and was able to move the contacts over using bluetooth NP

Umm no not really... we have been running test on some changes I made though.. See the sticky over at the DX forums to follow.. You will also notice most people seem to get 20 hours on a charge.. Which is pretty much what I have gotten on every ROM I have rum..

What I really think is going on, is people are playing with the toolbox and installing add-ons and themes which does kill battery..

Yeah, make sure Data Roaming is also on (assuming thats what the sticky over there is referring to). Use wifi whenever possible and turn off GPS and bluetooth if not needed to conserve power if you are that into power saving.

I'm seriously hoping the random reboot issue is solved prior to the last week in feb when I head out to Utah for a week. Would love to use Liberty with the extended battery I ordered so I can maximize run time...liberty so far had the best power savings from any of the roms I used.

Well I ain't install any add ons and my battery dies by the time I get out school just by listening to music idont know if its theme related because UD saves battery but avalon and cyan ginger bread just destroys my battery like crazy

No dropped calls here, but I have seen some weird stuff going on with VZW's network in WV this weekend.
