LG Vortex help......no data connection.

I've had this phone less than a week. Several times over the last few days, I haven't been able to get on the internet because it keeps telling me I have no data connection. My wi-fi is turned on. Also, in an effort to try and get a data connection, I took out the battery. When I put it back in, it took about 30 minutes before the phone would turn back on. This is getting very frustrating and I'm slowly starting to miss my Blackberry.

Welcome to the forum. If u haven't rooted it, my suggestion is to contact ur carrier. Are u only using WiFi for ur connection?
