leaving phone on the charger

Will it hurt my phone or battery if I leave it plugged into the charger for an extended period, like all day, or 3 days?

It shouldn't most chargers and phones stop charging your phone once it has full battery. The only concern is overheating your phone/charger which night happen it you leave it in for 3 day

The best thing for long battery life is to allow the charge to completely run down about once a month and do a full charge. That's what I do and I have not had any problem with my battery.

I don't fully drain the battery (as, IIRC, you're not supposed to with Li ion) and I have not had any problems with my battery.
