lcs .215 leak update please help

Someone made a video on how to do this. I'm not rooted, so for people like me, the first 2 minutes of the video will do.

Note that if you're staring at your phone while updating, one of the steps takes a really long time. Give it at least 5 minutes. Maybe it'll be gone by then. I thought the installation had been botched somehow. Thankfully that was the case.

As the OP mentioned, it probably took an overall of 15 minutes to complete. I checked my settings and I can see the .215 update applied.

Iam a newbie in all this but my question is,do u HAVE to have a pc to do this 215. Thing?or can u jst do it frm the phone?

You can download the zip file right from your phone, then move it to the external SD card from a file browser like ES Explorer or even then stock file browser.

Did you read this? You can download the zip from your phone and move it onto the external SD card also from your phone. No PC required.

That is always a good idea, no I have not heard any complaints. It helps with battery life and makes the phone run smoother.

When I was on .214 my phone seemed to stay on 3g more than 4g. Since I went to .215, i'm back to a more stable 4g connection. It has definitely made my phone run smoother with ICS as well!

Something ill probably need then,..since ics stock, i been losin alot of service,my screen icon apps be disappearing n all goes black,all i see is the app button..pretty annoying,something ill definitely have to report agian n most likely will be getin this 215 thing,thanks guys for the input n help,glad i found this forum

SOOO. Im new to rooting. I have a Stock Droid Razr on 6.16.211.XT912....Based off my reading I gathered that I can download .215 and put it on my SD Card and unzip it and I will be on .215.....and I dont have to root at all to do this? Is this correct. Sorry if this is a stupid of redundant question. Thanks.

As I mentioned previously, watch about the first two minutes of the video I posted about here. I did not make the video, myself, I just stumbled upon it. It goes on to explain how to do it if you are rooted, which I'm not. I haven't seen the whole video, just what I needed to see.
