Lagging Every Night

Every night around 9ish my phone lags down badly. My live wallpaper stops working and re-selecting it doesn't work. My app drawer will take a few seconds to open, sometimes my home screen apps disappear and all the apps are slow to launch and work on.

I had Advanced Task Killer, then tried the Froyo version and after much searching, uninstalled them to let the OS do it's own policing.

If I reboot the phone, it usually fixes it.

Anyone else having this problem, and if so how do you fix it.

Check all your running apps and services at 8 and at 10 and see what's different. It sounds like something scheduled to run at 9 is burning the CPU.

Go into settings and check the battery and data manager. There are a couple options and one if them is a night time saver mode, you may have this enabled.

Try installing Watchdog Task Manager from Zomut. It has a real time CPU monitor that you can turn on around 9 to see what's bogging your phone down.
