(Official 2.1) Live Wallpapers = lag?

I updated my Droid manually to 2.1 and once I set my wallpaper as a Live Wallpaper, my homescreen and app drawer started to lag. Did this happen to anybody else?

But once I switched back to a non-live wallpaper, I didn't notice any lag.
