Koush is probably one of the most popular Android developers of all time. He has sold enough "Root" apps to buy a fleet of yachts! He is most famous for projects like ClockWorkMod Recovery, Rom Manager, and most recently his AllCast app for the Chromecast! He has been working on an ADB server which can be ran from a chromebook. With an ADB server you are able to run commands to do things like push files to your phone, boot your phone into bootloader mode, boot your phone into recovery, unlock your phone's bootloader and more!

Normally you would need to be using a full OS like Mac, or Windows to install the full Android SDK which is needed so that your phone and computer can communicate with one another. Koush's new ChromeADB server removes the need to install the SDK to your Chromebook. This will currently work with the Nexus 5. Koush has already stated that he will be adding support for other devices. This hasn't been posted to the Chrome Web Store yet because it is still in the BETA stages. However you can download this now at the source link below.
