Kindle app. problems on android 2.1

Hey I have a Google 10" epad running android 2.1 system. I have downloaded the newest Kindle app. for this off of the android market but when I download a book it says to deleat the book and go to archive and re- download but then it gives the same message. Has anyone had a similar problem? Is there a fix for this issue?

As far as I know the latest Kindle version requires a 2.2 install.

Try clearing all data out of the Kindle app via the app manager.

Have you installed Astro and tried to see if there's anything in the Kindle directory on the SD card?
