Seems to be the way that the default restore function works. I just let that do its thing before flashing the add-ons. Then you have no issues.

what app are you guys using to restore apps?

my issue is after flashing you sign into google account and it restores all apps that were installed when backed up to google servers.....if I skip this and redo in a later time im only able to restore the apps I paid for....I tried "app backup and restore" which saved apk to sd card but they wont show as they being installed in the market menu.....

I've been using the built in backup restore function of astro. Its fast and simple. I also have tibu but I'vebeen run into issues in the past with it. If your looking for simple backup and restore I recommend astro

last few updates added that feature to astro. Also app extractor will restore them from your cw backups and it does not get hung up like TIBU can on apps, like stupid zombies etc.. I found a few apps mainly games but a few util apps that tibu just will not batch restore. Some will individual restore but not batch. App extractor always works, but does not always have all the goods.. (i.e. some apps just dont show in it, but most do and system ones do and it has data or app only restore option, and sms bluetooth etc restore options)

I use app extractor to add the pieces of blur i need to have facebook sync without all the blur.

When i go to add accounts flickr is not showing up - app is installed, - can't upload to it from camera etc. - i've tried deleting, reinstalling from app store, reflashing, etc etc - anybody else having this issue???

I had same issue with fb flashed blurr add on and fixed my issue.

how do I get the home button to do anything on the stock launcher... it doesn't pull previews or go to a main screen (usually the middle by default)

I'm rooted with 5.7.893 leak applied, no ROMs attempted yet. If I flash Kin3tix, everything will work but I'll still be on 5.7.893 radio, right? I'm just trying to sort out what gets updated and what doesn't. Thanks.

If you flashed 5.7.893 that is the radio and kernel you are on and will b until moto puts out another Ota

After I flashed Kin3tx, I started getting a sound that plays at boot up. It does not play during boot animation, it plays after the lock screen comes up. The worse part is it says "Welcome to Verizon Wireless". How in the world do I get rid of that?
