Just got this phone, extremely frustrated

I'm not sure what weather widget you downloaded. If it says choose widget at the top of the menu you're in then its right, just pick one and see if its what you wanted. If not just remove it and try the other.

Both of those require a paid app called weather and toggle widgets, so your out of luck there too.

Though there is a free clock widget just like the HTC one called fancy widget. Should get the job done for ya!

ok do u know the actual name for this clock and weather (since i cant download beautiful widgets cuz i dont have a credit card)

im looking at a bunch of weather/clock widgets dunno what those are called excatly as in name so i can type it down.

That one is only for htc phones, and isn't on the market, but you can download one called fancy widget for free that looks just like it.

i searched for "fancy widget" only 3 results and none of them are clock/weather widget like that

i only need the clock + weather widget. so its not beautiful widgets which i have to pay for ....so whats the correct spelling for "fancy widget"?

Actually, fancy widgets is the closest, because the graphics are exact copies of the HTC clock one

You spelled it right. It just might not be available where you live. If you wouldn't mind, I can get it for you, but you will have to download an app called astro file manager so you can install it.

That is how you spell it. The developer (who is actually a user of the forum, forget his name though) had gotten complaints from HTC..it's possible that he removed it today.

i live in canada btw, hence moto milestone, which is basically the same as us moto droid anyways

Yep it appears that he removed it. It might be in one of my backups, but I unrooted today. I might be able to extract the .apk, not sure...has anyone extracted an .apk from a clockwork backup before?

It is a free app also, and doesn't require root. Your ok, I understand your situation, lol. I wouldn't recommend something you said you don't want to do.

It is a free app also, and doesn't require root. Your ok, I understand your situation, lol. I wouldn't recommend something you said you don't want to do.
