This is basically my only gripe with BB, wifi is erratic and seems to be for all BB users. Just curious if the sapphire rom had fixed this? I've heard the sapphire rom has great battery life too, and while mine isn't horrible, it's certainly much worse than the 2.1 versions of BB. Any comments on battery life?

Batteru life is the best I've had from any rom....and I've tried most of them.

I've not had any WiFi issues using the default kernel, or others. Battery life has been above average compared to most of the 2.2 releases out there.

Hope that helps.

This.

And I've never had a wifi problem on any version of Sapphire I've run.

On 0.8.4 connecting to wifi is really slow to connect and inconsistent if trying to connect to a closed network (no ssid broadcast). Broadcast and it is fine. WPA security.

This is the same problem I've had on every froyo rom, so I'm guessing it will continue with sapphire. Unfortunately, broadcasting he SSID does not fix it for me.
