I just stopped talking to any and all of my friends that have iPhones in order to prevent arguments just like this.... :icon_ goofy:

Worthless argument. I have no doubt it will be a great phone. Two things apple needs to do IMHO

1) Quit being so restrictive on what people can do with their phones. A phone that absolutely must be hacked to be really enjoyable should tell them something. Yes, you can root the Droid, but it is still very unrestrictive and enjoyable without rooting.

2) Get rid of AT&T or at least open it up to other networks. I don't care how many has been actors you have doing commercials, AT&T is still pretty lowsy compared to Verizon at least for coverage.

im sure everyone has heard the rumors of iPhone going to Verizon this year, earliest i have hear is 3rd quarter. I talked with a verizon employee in whom i know and trust, and he has not heard anything yet.... so we shall see....

Employees will be the last to know. This forum will probably know faster lol. Either way, it would be a good move for Apple, but I will not be switching back. Had my quick fix of the iphone. Had the Droid not of ever existed I would probably get the Iphone if it was on Verizon, but now I have a taste of the really good life and no way am I going back to the Iphone.

In a few minutes I am going to install Bugless Beast 7.6 and I am pumped. How sad is my life now that I am so excited about going from Rom 7.5 to 7.6 :icon_ devil:

nice, i don't think i'd do the iphone either, i have an ipod touch, and nano and my fiancee has a nano.... so why do double or triple the ipod when i already have one, i also think it would be a great move as well to have them move, with all hte bad quality here where i live..... its a mess

i dont think it will be coming to verizon at all.....any guess i have seen says 2011 earliest is still a huge stretch

I couldn't agree more... I have a friend at work who told me he was thinking about getting an iphone. I showed him the :motdroidhoriz: and he loved it. I told him to look up the Nexus One, and he loved it even more (cause he is on Tmob) LOL

Funny story.... Today at work during my lunch my friend (iphone owner) wanted to use one of our computers in the lunch room to surf the web. I asked him doesn't your iphone have wifi. His response, "Yeah but I don't want to close this app then back all the way out to be able to open my browser." CLASSIC LMOA I pulled out my Droid and showed my other friend (the one I turned to the Nexus instead of an iphone) and said, "Hold the home key for a few seconds." LoL I told him those are my last six apps I had running choose one then repeat. No Backing out of nothing LMAO...:icon_ banana::icon_ devil::icon_ banana::icon_ devil::icon_ banana::icon_ devil::icon_ banana::icon_ devil:

I love your story. Can the iPhone play music (like run Pandora) while browsing the web? I was pretty amazed the first time I realized I could do that on my Droid.
