From your picture that file is on the SD card which is actually the internal one, you need it in the SD card ext.

That is why you are not seeing it in recovery.

That is not the right path, you were not supposed to make a SD ex folder on your SD card. You need to navigate to your external sd card.

Your path should look like mine, and there should be other folders in there. Let me see if I can make a few step by step instructions.

Press the menu button from within ES File Explorer and go to the settings.

From the setting click to change the home directory.

A menu will pop up with the text "/sdcard/", change that to just "/" and back out of the settings.

Now hit the up button to go to the root of "/"

From there you can select sd card ext, that is where you need to move the zip file to and it will be seen by recovery.

Instead of using ez file explorer just use the regular ( MY FILES ) that come with you phone, click on it and look under internal phone storage/download. find the file there press and hold it and hit move, then hit the back button until you see your options for sd card click on the sd card and hit move. its that easy.

I installed the .215 leak and also rooted my Droid Razr Maxx. I'm now getting daily notices that I'm going to get the ICS upgrade soon and asking if I'd like to explore the new features. I assume I'm getting this because I'm no longer on .211. Anybody else getting these? Anybody know how to stop them? Thx. -Rich

Right after I first got the OTA update, I received the same notification but only twice. I am on 215 now and have not received the notification

I don't think it's a 215 thing. I'm on stock 211 since ics came out. I got my third "upgrade notice" yesterday. They did update the contents of the web page on the link....so maybe they are just re-sending "shotgun style" :)

Thanks for the replies. It's probably that they updated the contents of the web page. I've gotten about 2 notices so far. Maybe that or one or two more will be it. ;-)

If you wipe your cache you wont get the notification again.

I will try that. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll probably have to figure out how to do it, but I'll find instructions somewhere. :)

I haven't received a notice lately, so I'm hoping it went away on its own.

Pardon for barging in like this, but someone asked me to locate this thread since it has the play-by-play of a full RSD to .211 from .215 leak, root and protect, and then a full upgrade back to .215 and re-install of CWM and Touch CWM, bringing the phone full circle with 100% success. So this post is a gentle :bump:.

If anyone wants to re-live the moments, it starts on page 4 of this thread.

Thanks.

I may not have noticed it before but with the .215 leak the notification and ring volumes can be seperated again.
