Can't flash cm9/aokp to ics leak

I have tried to flash various versions of both cm9 and aokp to both 6.16.215 and 6.16.217, but every time I bounce after install & format, I end up with a black screen. Is anyone else having issues flashing to the ics leaks? Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

If you aren't using an ics leak based build of cm9/akop, it won't boot. The original builds are based of the Gingerbread kernel and not the ICS kernel, which you're on now after jumping to the leak.

Double check that its a leak based build...that's probably your hangup.
