Now, here is some exciting news for Xoom owners... Motorola has begun pushing a new update out to the Xoom for users in the soaktest, and it isn't just a series of bug fixes and feature improvements like a typical update. This is the full on Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich update! Soon, these lucky folks will be running with the latest and greatest from Google, and then, barring any big issues, they will be sending it out OTA for everyone else too! It won't be long now!

Yep, got it last night. It's definitely a nice upgrade. If you have a WiFi Xoom the update has been posted (XDA) but you need to be stock, unrooted and locked bootloader to install (and requires the usb connect cable and a USB key with the update on it).

I had to re-lock and un-root my Xoom to get the update (part of the test group) but after the update was pushed and installed, I've already un-locked and re-rooted my Xoom.

I hope that is good news for us Razr\Bionic users
Not really.

This is a Google update, not a Motorola one. The WiFi model of the Motorola Xoom is a GED (Google Experience Device). Google pushed the update (according to Motorola) not Motorola.

The Bionic and Razr are Motorola Experience Devices (LOL)......and will require Motorola to develop/push and update.
