i want to make a custom rom

i'm sorely scouring the internet on how to make roms for the DX and i'm really seeking info but i have no idea where to start....can someone please help a brotha' out?

I'm kinda in the same boat you are. Everything i find is for d1. However, this has been alot of help. It's for d1 but most of the info is atleast close.
