I put a "." in front of a pics folder to hide it, now I can't find it?

From a forum suggestions I put a "." in front of a folder name I had saved in my dcim folder in a attempt to hide photos from the photo gallery. Now I don't see the photos in the folder I created or the Gallery. Any idea where they were hidden too?

Not sure, and my SD card is mounted

I know that if you put a dot in front of that they won't show up in the gallery at all. I found the folder at the top of the list. Since the "." its before A

btw. I found it using Astro and Root Explorer too

open a terminal and su to root. Go to the directory where the gallery folder is that you put the period in front of and then issue the following command.

mv .hiddenfolder/ hiddenfolder/


where hiddenfolder is the name of the folder in the DCIM folder.
