I need an application that allows you to cut .mp3s (and various other format ls preferably) straight from your phone or SD card and has the "fade-out" feature so that the stripped files don't end abruptly.

EX: "Without you, with or without you ohh. I can't live with or wi-"

It drives me absolutely mental when my ringtones end like that. Any help?

I'm on my phone so pardon my occasional half-coherent babble.

Ringdroid lets you cut your own. i don't know about the fade thing tho

Creating ringtones is no problem. I use wavepad and fade out all of mine at the end because i hate it when ringtones stop short and sound abrupt. But how do I save the files on the SD card so that the droid recognizes it as a ringtone and not a music file?

It was easier on my old voyager but I'm having trouble getting it on this phone.
