HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

Did some youtube'ing for camera shutter speeds on the TB and EVO and I'm very happy to see that that is no lag (certainly not when compared to my Eris).

I was a little concerned, but I was going to give HTC the nod over Apple simply due to the fact that initially I loved my Eris. It was only when I started messing w/ the Incredible and iPhone that I realized it (the Eris) has some serious issues.

Now I can wade thru the 3k posts again making sure I didn't miss anything. Even tho it was beginning to feel a bit like the movie Groundhog Day

Just got off the phone with best buy and they now are saying the 23rd. Makes sense considering the inventory sheet that was just leaked said they're receiving them the 21st. So the 23rd/24th are looking good.

i miss understood before lol, i guess your right it is already like a cluster f*ck but thats because of all the rumors flying around lately.. VZN hopefully can end the speculation soon.

My friend knows a Verizon employee, and I asked him to inquire about the 'Bolt yesterday, and the guy said "Last week of February". 28Th perhaps? I'm hoping the 24th will be when it drops...

It should be the 24th. Vzw releases in Thursday usually.

For sure. It just starts getting sane around here then someone posts that he "read somewhere..." and it starts up again. Ha! When you think of all the forums all posting whenever one person reads from another forum and quotes it, the cycle recycles.

Not to be a hater, or a doubter, but does anyone REALLY think Verizon just sets this on the shelf one day and says "Here it is!"? We are now past the 8-14 day window within which VZW has historically announced their big phones for sale. They are supposedly on the way from HTC, the signage and dummies are in place, what could possibly stop them from announcing a release date at this point if it WAS next Thursday.

Fact is the only reason I can think of for not announcing a date is that there is no date. Sure, I had two VZW employees tell me today it was the 24th, but I think they are just tired of the questions.

I think it's about time to get off this roller coaster and leave this Circus behind.

By the way, there is a guy in the AndroidForums who works for best buy - he is at work and is checking on all types of info - - he said he just looked at next weeks ad and Thunderbolt is listed as new! He's about to upload a screenshot. It was his screenshot of the 2-21-2011 release date stuff too. The thread is Best Buy Details - Page 3 - Android Forums and the guy is jayishere
