HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

So, uh, what are you guys gonna do when BB doesn't have the phone on Feb 24?

BB will get it the same day as VZW if it doesn't get it before. If for some weird reason they don't have it yet on 2/24 and VZW does (I don't see this happening), I will go on over and get it from VZW instead and save my $50 giftcard to BB for something else. Why do you insist on being so negative by thinking it won't come out until March? I admit, there are plenty of reasons to be a little skeptical, but have a little faith. Android Central and BGR seemed very confident in the 2/24 date.

I let my hopes take over logic with the whole Feb. 14th release date when I broke my Org. Droid a week ago. I'm sick of this 2nd Gen. Chocolate!

I had been looking at the Bionic, but now that I've been reading day and night about both phones, I want the TB ASAP!

Anyone can say their "reliable source" told them the 24th. You really shouldn't expect the 24th until an official Verizon announcement comes out.

Bionic, iphone4, thunderbolt comparison to hold us over.

Verizon Droid Bionic vs. iPhone 4 vs. HTC Thunderbolt

there are two facts I find fascinating, in viewing the above chart:

1. the TB standby time is longer than the Bionic. that doesn't tell us much about talk time, web surfing time, or skyping time, but why haven't all the "HTC battery life sucks" people been repeating this spec?

2. I find the display resolution bragging rights for the Bionc to be not only amusing, but downright laughable. after doing some calculations based on visual acuity, I found that one needs to be less than 3.2 inches away from the display to even notice the difference!

I have to say going from my D1 854x480 3.7" to my DX 854x480 4.3" it is actually very noticable. Just stretching that resolution .6" really made it look less crisp than it did on my D1.

[Q UOTE=tp76;1142289]I say mid February - it was at least a month after the announcement of the Droid before it's Official Release[/QUOTE]
the droid thunderbolt is the verizon version of the sprint evo 4g so you can get it tomorrow if you want it:)

Stupid stupid stupid Best Buy… They just called me and said:

Hi you pre-ordered the HTC Thunderbolt? I said yes as I was getting excited, then they said we just need to let you know it’s been pushed back to the 24th.
