So apparently Verizon and Skype have a press conference tomorrow at MWC. Perhaps we get an announcement there.

I thought I read that this phone has a 1Ghz snap dragon chip is this correct or is it a dual core?

I have the original Droid which was a good phone but I have had many issues with it regarding e-mail, and it freezing often with me needing to reboot it often.

I assume this HTC is much faster than my current Droid?

The ThunderBolt isn't dual core. And considering your Droid came out in Nov 09, the ThunderBolt will be noticeably faster.

Keep waiting folks - I'm officially off the Thunderbolt bandwagon. I'm sticking with AT&T and pre-ordered my Atrix yesterday. My "VIP" discount (basically, thanks for not jumping to Verizon) got me the dual-core Android with 1 GB of RAM and qHD screen for $99. And it's guaranteed to be in by March 6th... or sooner. No games, no leaks, no speculation - and darn good price too for a phone that, on paper at least, seems better than the Thunderbolt - other than the network.

I've said it countless times - good luck seeing this phone before March. Vz's got it's grubby little hands on the iPhone now and you droiders don't matter so much anymore...

i appreciate the good luck wish but we wont need it.. crazy how you dont think this phone will be out before March.. TBH im not sure why anyone believed the 14th the first time around, leaks or not they changed the 14 day return for a reason.. imagine that the 24th falls exactly 14 days after the 10th..

i know some of you are frustrated, but this phone really will be here soon i promise.. ill have to admit it was a wild ride getting here but hopefully it will be worth the wait, and coming from a OG Droid im sure that wont be a problem.

Technically the 24th is the 15th day from the 10th (which would make sense since you have 14 days to return your phone if you aren't satisfied).

god...this hype is taking over my life.

I believe you are on to something! That would be the proper way to announce the launch. Probably going to unveil the video calling and then everyone should finally get their precious launch date.
