HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

god...this hype is taking over my life.

I have to back off until this phone comes out...cause I keep getting my hopes up and it doesnt pay off...

hopes up on this phone alone

before the end of the year (2010)
Feb 14th...

My guess is a verizon pre-order with a scheduled release for Feb 24th. The phones will ship earlier though.

I think it would be sweet if BB and Verizon would get the people with the pre-orders the phone earlier than the 24th since we had our orders in before the official delay..

Just got a call from my BB, "We did not get any units in." Expected this and knew it was coming but still... Verizon...

should only be 10 more days, not a big deal.

dude you still have a voyager? thats impressive good texing phone I liked the large physical keyboard.

Still, I just don't see why everyone is so hyped up on this. read between the lines re: Apple's legal machine and VZW's silence. TB is not coming until Apples lawers say it can

What "official delay?" There was never even an official announcement. Just because some BB stores were saying Feb 14 and now it isn't available doesn't mean there was a delay. Now if Verizon comes out and says the phone will be released on the 24th and then that is pushed back, then that will be an "official delay."

Nothing is certain until Verizon announces a release date. The 24th is not confirmed at all. There are speculations of a 17th release as well as a release some time in March just like there is speculation of a 24th release.

My BB went one step further. Not only did they name the 24th as the BB release date WITHOUT HESITATION, the rep also went on to tell me that , due to the "exclusive sales agreement " between BB and VZW, the VZW release date will be TWO WEEKS LATER to allow BB to get a share of the launch sales... so now could the VZW launch date really be as late as March 10??? Not trying to add more drama to an already drama-filled thread, but HOLY S*#T ... Taken with a grain of salt, but the BB rep was a manager who sure seemed to know what she was talking about... GRRRR

Im pretty sure it came out somewhere that the phone was being pushed back, not just from BB's 14th date, just in general.. No one knew the release date but the phones being delayed..

If this BB also told you the phone would be out with a February 14 launch date then don't take anything they say as truth.

Also id wait until an official verizon announcement before you start worrying.

Yes, I do. It's been good to me but it's not what it used to be. I'm eligible and VERY ready for my upgrade. And Apple can go...do stuff :dry:
