If you go to their page now you will see a comment I just put in there about Verizon launching on the 24th and their response to me was..

Went to that exact store and they "confirmed" it would be the 24th and not the 14th.

Could have been planned for the 14th, the dummies made up with that date, and then pushback to the 24th... no sense to re-do all the dummies...

hmm sounds like tbd date. So it might be mid march. I am placing my bets on march 17th which is st pattys day either that or april 1st.

I'll bet you the cost of the phone that you are wrong if you want, we can set up an escrow account to hold the bets. I'll take anytime within 2/14-2/28, and you can have anytime within 3/17-4/1 (if it's between 3/1-3/16, no one wins). It's not "TBD," it's more like "been determined recently, but we're not telling you yet that it's the 24th, because we're Verizon and have failed on every level of customer communication about this device and it's surrounding policy changes from the beginning, so why start being clear now." Do you really think they would start pre-order for a phone that was to be released 6 or 8 weeks later? No, absolutely not. Even 3 weeks ahead of time seems too long.

it seems to me that with the best buy flyer due out on the 20th that they will have it for sale before then.my guess is the 17th at bb and the 24th at verizon.its coming soon!

As much as I would LOVE for it to be out the 14th, that's pretty much a 95% chance of no. I would say 17th maybe(again, would love it). If not 17th, then by the 24th almost for certain. Unless there is a reason that they CANNOT launch it by then, it would be foolish for them to wait any longer. Aside from 4g, the hardware specs on the TB are pretty zzzz. The majority of customers won't even have 4g (myself included). Heck I'm not gonna have 4g until sometime in 2012.

Pretty certain we will hear something official during MWC.

i think you should just buy a droid x or an incredible since you've said it probably 20 times in this thread. I'd go for the x over the incredible though. We'll let you know how much better the thunderbolt is when we get it
