Yeah I agree with that, bb wouldn't be able to tell all these people that they will have it on Monday if you preordered. There is just things going on behind the scenes that is allowing them to sell it, I wouldn't be surprised if verizon just comes out and sells it one day without any preorder.

I want it to release everywhere on monday. If too much longer I am pulling trigger on incredible or droid x tonight.

I've been available for an upgrade since last September with my Droid...I've been waiting patiently since then for something better. What is so bad about waiting for a few more weeks? If you go with an Incredible or an X, you are seriously downgrading from the Thunderbolt. I would wait and be patient for the 'Bolt. You will be sorry when one of your friends get one, and you try it out. Trust me, be patient. We've all waited this long, what's a few more weeks?

I so agree. I been waiting since August trying to decide which first smart phone to buy.
The TB looks good.

Called my local bb and they said if I pre order I can pick it up Monday, so I'm goin now to pre order, let's hope there right, I called another bb close to me and they said the 23 so I don't think they really know lol I really didn't want to go threw bb cause they won't do a one yr contract, but I'm tired of waiting and they have the buy back goin on so I guess that makes up for it

You guys who are pre-ordering the TB: How do you know it's any good? I've only seen some shaky, noisy CES videos. Are there any in-depth reviews of the phone somewhere?

With all the plan changes if I decide to get the tb. Will my plan go up because its a 4g phone?

Wirefly Review. Includes benchmark scores too.
They also did a comparison with the EVO that shows the Thunderbolt as a big improvement.

Actually, the opposite. Until you sign a new contract, you can continue under the old agreement month to month. Initial LTE prices look to be $30 for unlimited, so it may actually be worth paying retail for the TB and you will forever be paying retail to keep that unlimited data.

$750 is steep, but I know at least I can get half that back 6 months later through Best Buy, and then another $250-$300 for a new phone. So really my "next" phone looks to put me out $500-$600.
