I hope you guys DO get them. Then we can have 9 days of actual user reviews to decide to camp out on opening day. I just don't see it happening.

agreed, til Verizon releases info on pricing and such, I just don't see a Monday release at BB happening, especially since it seems some BB's have no idea what day, some are saying 17th some are saying 24th

I pre-ordered because I know I'm getting the phone either way, so I won't be losing anything. If I get it before most that would be awesome, if not oh well. But by pre-ordering I (fingers crossed) may get it sooner than someone who did not.

I've been available for an upgrade since last September with my Droid...I've been waiting patiently since then for something better. What is so bad about waiting for a few more weeks? If you go with an Incredible or an X, you are seriously downgrading from the Thunderbolt. I would wait and be patient for the 'Bolt. You will be sorry when one of your friends get one, and you try it out. Trust me, be patient. We've all waited this long, what's a few more weeks?

mine told me they wouldn't give me my NE2, but have seen others say BB honors them... go figure....

I'm trying to haggle an ebayer down for a droid 2. If I can get it low enough I will bite and still have room for the tbolt when it comes out.

I had a friend who preordered the iphone and he got it 3 days later - BEFORE it was available in stores... why does this seem so impossible to people that it could happen with the thunderbolt before the actual day Verizon releases it??

I just don't think BB would be allowed to do pre-orders and publicize the phone if they weren't in agreement with Verizon... I think people are making this wayyyy too complicated...
