This is ridiculous. This phone has to be coming soon. Wirefly usually gets the device a few days before launch. Also, if they got it, others should too.

Well i decided to give the local best buy a call.
They said they are taking pre-orders, and when i asked which day it would be released they said they had not set a hard date yet, but it should be late this month.

He did say it was a pre-production model phone, although it was the production packaging. So maybe we are still a little ways off still, maybe not.

I just got off the phone with a Verizon premium authorized retailer, and they said the phones should be in soon. She was going to set one aside for me and give me a call as soon as the come in.

I third this, and second the enV! Why must Verizon hate us so!
I will NOT pre-order this phone until a release date is announced. It's that simple. And if it gets delayed beyond February, I'm looking elsewhere - I've been sitting on an expired 2 year contract form AT&T since last month, and now AT&T has plenty of phones available.
And Verizon has zero 3G coverage in western Maryland (where I do some business traveling). It's a real pain...

I saw that on my lunch break...very disappointed there was no part 2 to keep me occupied the rest of the time.
