Thats what I am wondering also. Just got off the phone with my local VZW store and she said she wasn't sure. I can only get it from VZW cuz they will honor my upgrade and BB won't for some reason. :icon_evil:

Well went and preorders mine, and the guy said the 14th is goin to be the date, he also its not set in stone but most likely it will be there on the 14th and he scheduled me to pick it up at 1 on the 14th. So I think they will have them on that date.

I just pre-ordered and was told the 14th also and that it may be out as early as the 10th. They made me a rewards member before processing my 'reservation' and also gave me a giftcard with a receipt stating that it was for the thunderbolt. YAY! Only a week to wait!

Just pre-ordered mine at Best Buy. Got a $50 gift card as deposit. My city should be getting 4g end of February or beginning of March so I'm sitting pretty happy atm. Didn't get an exact pickup date but another week or two I'm sure.

Here's what everyone needs to know,
The Thunderbolt is pre ordable today, $50 down in the form of a BB giftcard
The price will be $249.99 on an uprgade PLUS the tax on the retail
The retail price will be $629.99 plus tax
If you have preordered at best buy they will call you up on the day the phone will be release which will MOST LIKELY be the 14th(if not, the 24th, and they will have the phone for you there and you give them your$50 giftcard and however much the phone will be for you and then they will activate your phone

I'm confused here, maybe somebody can shed some light on this situation. My phone line says I'm eligible for an upgrade on 04/03/11. Yet when I click upgrade to select a line, it states that my phone line can upgrade at discounted pricing. So I select my line and get to the phone selection screen and all the phones are showing a 2 year discounted price.

So here is where I can use as many opinions as possible, do you think best buy will be able to honor the upgrade that I can get online despite the phone line saying that I'm eligible on 04/03/11?

I am going to guess that you are in a 2 year contract and that you are up for the one year renewal for being the main line on the account?? If that be the case then you are eligible for the discount pricing and yes BB will see this too. You are not eligible for the NE2 discount on top of the subsidized pricing, but you can get the TB for $249.. Verizon, BB, Wirefly, Amazon.. they will all honor the one year agreement, but on your account it will show your upgrade date later. That date is when you will be able to get the NE2 discount on top of the subsidized. This being the last time you can have NE2 it is your choice if you wait.. Me.. I am going with the TB at the subsidized.. and loosing the NE2 credit..

I am in this situation too. NE2 is due in August, but the Verizon website shows me eligible for an upgrade at the discount price. I am the primary on a family plan. However, BB would not count me as eligible. They said I needed to wait till August, or order it through Verizon when it is available there. They were nice about it. But it was a no go for me.

It's So stupid that bb has it before Verizon. Just release the phone and stop playing games!
