HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

I talked with a Verizon epmloyee today for over a hour today . She told me they had a March 8th release date in the computer but then it was pulled because they are having issues with the phones camera. She said no new release date has been set..

months are getting close to years lol.. i dont care when this thing comes out i would rather it come out with the other 4g lte devices but if i have to pay for 4g ima be pretty upset! but i would like to have a couple choices of phones i really really want to chec out this LG PHONE..... but other ppl with RIM devices and so on might not be willing to wait but htc sales will take a huge hit on this no doubt

meh, until some new information or leaks come out this thread is gonna be a snail. They should just go ahead and lauch the phone tomorrow and forget about trying to make space for the fruit again.

I dont think the I5 is releasing on vzw then. I mean I am open to see articles. But I think we may see a pattern of att getting the I5 then vw getting it a 3 or 4 months later.

I would've agreed with you if iPad2 didn't ship with CDMA on day one.

Telll you what that little LG Optimus is a nice little phone. My friend got one yesterday and I got to use it today. It's pretty good for what it is. Very well built and fast. No lag at all.

The Optimus is not a handset for me but I'm convinced that LG will put out a great product from using it.

I will definitely be considering LG.........

There is no launch date - this phone will continue to be delayed until whatever problem (presumably with LTE) is fixed. Could be the 17th, the 25th, April, May - who knows.

You might as well just wait for the Bionic.

i do know one thing i will not buy a moto or a blurtastic phone. ill keep the junk i got before i let that happen nothing but bad exp with them

Not saying I am right or wrong or you are right or wrong. The only people who really know are apple and vzw but time will tell. I would not doubt apple would like to start doing one big release for apple on both vzw and att but because vzw is still trying to figure out lte I think June may be too soon to have everything ready for an I5 release for vzw.

im very excited to see LG come into the high end market!! And they are currently driving the current development right now as far as i can see first duel core.... 3D screen.... 3D camera new displays!!!!! LG BRINGIN THE A GAME PEOPLE :icon_eek: AND IVE NOTICED IT..... they will get my business one of my next 2 phones will be a LG

I know it was all rumor, but it seems that closer we get to other phones coming out, the more the TB comes back to the pack, and the more it becomes a less desirable phone for me.

AT this rate we are better off with the incredible. They are both 1ghz processors, both made by htc. But one will be cheaper, allowed to be used on the current data plan, and you know you already have roms to play with.

Absolutely. The Atrix and Inspire from AT&T are looking better and better by the day. At this point, I can absolutely tell you that if I don't like the pricing for LTE that I am switching from Sprint to AT&T instead of Verizon.

I have been waiting like everybody else here and was told om monday they don't know if the bolt will be out this month. I am keeping my incredible and bought the xoom.....sorry guys I could not wait for the release any longer with no light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck to those still waiting I hope its released soon for you.
