They can do a software update to change the utilization and more efficiently use the hardware. This has been mentioned multiple times as a fix by those more knowledgable than myself.

yea $64 question. perhaps they are underclocking the processor to conserve power. seems pretty easy to source another battery, for pete's sake Bionic uses >1400mAh why can't HTC.

but u guys are right the bionic is starting to look more attractive. HTC/VZW failure to launch lol

At this point if what that big wig was saying is true and they don't expect this to come out till 2nd qtr, first half of year I think I'm just going to wait till end of this month and if it doesn't come out I'm going for the droid x. I just hate putting my contract on for another 2 years on a phone that is almost eol. Would love to wait for a new one but nothing is in the future at this point.

you know, with the attractive X pricing this isn't such a bad idea!

The LTE network works fine, I've got an aircard that works quite well......

Now, the LTE radio in the phone could have problems, but I think the battery is still the issue....

You mean horrible battery life is the issue : )

I have never liked Apple but yesterday while selling an iPhone it for a split second looked attractive then I came onto the forums and remembered just why I want the TBolt. I don't know how much longer I have to wait but it needs to hurry it up

According to VZW CEO yesterday the TB will be released by the END of Q2, that means by the end of June. Just in time to be paired with the new tier pricing program.

I really hope not. It needs to be out this month. If he said the HTC THUNDERBOLT will not be out til June then ill b fine. Upset but fine. They r releasing iPhone for VZW employees soon I hope the TBolt will b right with it. BUT MY WIFE KNOWS APPLE IN AND OUT AND IF SHE WANTS IT SHE WILL GET IT AND WE ARE LOOKIN TO KEEP SAME PHONE. I WOULD GET EVO NVR INSPIRE CUZ IT'S ATT. Then come June if that is the case ill get tbolt and give my daughter iPhone.

I guess you could read that from his statement if you were leaning more to the pessimism side of things, but he didnt mention the thunderbolt by name whatsoever. Besides they said it would launch in this quarter at CES so I would be very very surprised if it got pushed to the iphone 5's launch window. I just dont see verizon launching anything whatsoever in june or july that is NOT the iphone 5.

I dont know if the HTC is released that late then they wont be the first to verizon 4g because the samsung is slated to release in April, if rumors "pan out". <---- but at this rate rumors have not panned out so who knows.

I dont think the I5 is releasing on vzw then. I mean I am open to see articles. But I think we may see a pattern of att getting the I5 then vw getting it a 3 or 4 months later.
