HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

Aside from the fact that Job's right-hand man said no LTE for IP5...

The IP5 will NOT be LTE but those who have to have the latest will pay retail, anyway. Then the IP6 comes out next year and WILL be LTE, and those who have to have it, still under contract, will pay retail again. Why? Because I'm a greedy bastard, too, and that's what I'd do.

ahhh not so right here.... VZW has said it will have to be lte capable for them....internally and it will meet that demand..

Fact is the Bolt is delayed again .... a direct qute frommy time with VZW tonight " We will not release a phone knowing the IPhone could be returned. Afterall we get charged back 4750 for each device. Since we can't sell it certified or resell it as new. Apple is calling these shots"

So this is the second or third time I have had this conversation about the bolt........ Even bestbuy tonight shows a pre order but no release date ( I was there tonight too ) ..... so delayed now the when is not know but if I plyes the odds.... late february before the Atrix gets out on the market

Can you do me a favor and tell these people that the are IDIOTS?? This would make perfect sense if the i*hone was going to be sold for ONE DAY, but it's not. So they release the Thunderbolt on the 28th... how does that stop the people who had to wait until the 18th (the reported shipping date if you didn't get in on a preorder or get one of the limited units tomorrow) from returning? By their logic, they should just sell the i*hone from here on out and NOTHING ELSE. There will ALWAYS be SOMEONE who can return an i*hone. FFS!

I guess in a way we are both right.. the fruit has been taking alot of resources. I advised march so to even make feb is good..

Funny BMX is a good guy and so it is both? Could be certainly they are portraying it here to the fruit.... BMX says tech... knowing that I believe its both....or read tech issues caused by some rotten fruit

yea but think this way... x amount of devices gets sold in a store for this case we will use 200..... The bolt rolls out and 100 get returned.. VZW gets back charged $750 x100 .....

Now release later or March.... returned = 10 .... and VZW save $$ now extrapulate the formula with real world numbers and you get the idea... locally they have 275 devices in stk...this is a small town compared to orlando or daytona... so now you get the idea
