htc desire HD gps issue

I've had my HTC desire HD since March, it's been sent off for gps repairs twice and still the gps is marginal at best. I've done several tests with other droids and the satellite locking time and it's ability to hold a lock is pathetic compared to other models (mostly the HTC desire). Is anyone else having these issues.....
