how to unboot strap

i know this is out there some where. but im bad at finding stuff. i saw someone post the files and there locations to delete to unboot strap. i dont want to sbf. i am going to do that and then i want to root boot strap and restore a froyo back up then unroot and unboot strap so i am stock. as i am on the list for the soak test for gb. so please help thanks

Just sbf. Probably can't take an OTA if you're already on a GB custom rom.

i know i cant thats why i said i plan on sbfing but i want to be able to restore my backup. from froyo. then unboot strap and unroot. so im stock
