How to transfer videos from Droid X to email

Hello everyone,

I'm new here - only had my Droid X for a little over a week. I've been trying various features, but am curious how to send a video I've taken from the Droid to someone else's email or phone.

From the video itself, I've gone into the menu feature and clicked on "share" - entered an email and..........nothing.

I just went into my gallery, found a video and long pressed it, I got some options at the bottom and one was "share" after choosing share I was given other options...I chose gmail, it directed me to my gmail app but I got an error of the file being to large to attach (it is a two minute video) do you get any attachment errors ?
