New Droid X User

Hello - Just got my Droid X and got it syncing with my various email accounts - really cool that I can have multiple email accounts/contacts sync'd.

The only issue I've had so far is how do I delete duplicate contact groups? My personal and work email is MS Exchange and so I sync'd contacts from both email accounts ... some of my "categories" are the same in both so now I have duplicate groups.

Been searching everywhere on how do I get rid of the duplicate contact groups - can someone educate me how or point me to the proper thread on the forum?

I am not sure on the duplicates - I do not use an exchange account...

Welcome! Try this -- open your contacts, tap menu, tap display options, tap the account and display only one of the accounts. I believe that you can open each contact and edit and either merge or delete duplicates. Here is a link
