Newbie needs help with Vortex

Hi everyone. Another new user of a smart phone. Need help with my Vortex. Can't figure out how to e-mail a video taken from my phone and send through G-mail. When I click on "Share" after taking the video, I send it through G-mail but it comes through the other side with the extension of .3gp. Computers don't recognize this file and can't open the video. Tried to change the extenstion to a wave file on both ends but doesn't work. Also, if I create the email first and then try to add the video attachment, it will only take me to the photos, not the video section.

I also created a video earlier, renamed it, then it disappeared. Can't find it. Where could it have gone to.
