How to set max amount of txt msgs in thread?

How do you set the max amount of text messages in a thread for the incredible?

For more info, I tried getting info from here, but none of them were incredible users so it didn't exactly help me.

while on your text screen Menu>settings>delete old messages> now select text or multimedia limit. It will let you toggle up or down the number you want to keep.

That works for your phone and it also works for mine (D1), but that is not an option for the DI. Bump, looking for solution for gf's DI.
