Droid newbie here. on a couple of occasions I accidentally pressed and dragged an icon on the application tab and unintentionally created icons on my home screen for Google Voice and corporate calendar. Since I don't use either one of them, I would like to remove them. When I try to long press either icon and drag it to the trash, it just pops back to its place on the home screen. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Mark

All I can say is make sure the icon/trash can turns red before you lift your finger.

it takes a little getiing used to, when you press and hold, drag it to the bottom od the screen where the litle trash can appears and make sure it lights up red then release. i kept doing it wrong and it kept popping back into place.
