How does Verizons define "like-new" condition?

So I've got a phone that I'm want to return, but there are a few tiny scratches on the screen. You have to have the phone on really bright in order to notice them. Will Verizon still accept the phone? How well do they check returned phones?

If you bought the phone in your hands would you be happy with the condition? That's the definition of "like new".

I don't think you'll have a problem. All returned phones get sent back and sold as Certified Like New Replacements...and we all know those are far from Like New :)

What's the worst that could happen anyways? They say no?
