How does Droid Dock work??

hey guys. whats going on. How exactly does the dock work. is there just a magnet in the back that flips it too

Yes, it is just a single magnet. In the car dock it is located about 1.75" from the left side of the phone and about .2" below center when you have the phone oriented in landscape mode and are looking at the screen. You can hold a magnet on the back of the phone and it will go into car mode.

for the "Droid Dock" multimedia dock for home or office, it too is activated by a magnet it doesnt even need to be fully docked if it is within 2 inches of the dock the magnets turn it to the preloaded dock program. Greatest part is optional to have it plugged in to charge or not....
