This vid helped me when I had to uninstall it.

open the app... click uninstall recovery... then go into Manage Apps and uninstall the App normally,,, and make sure you format the internal memory before returning the phone if you don't want any remains of your files on the phone

That seems easy enough. Thank you!

I removed it, but itstill shows at startup...

I think maybe I have tried these backwards. I uninstalled the app BEFORE uninstalling recovery within the app, so now, it no longer shows as an app, but stills shows up on startup. I have already unrooted the phone (Bionic). To remove it completely, do I need to reroot, reinstall safestrap, and uninstall it the way suggested??? Any help anyone can give me will be MUCHO appreciated :)

Do you still have the safestrap apk file? Look into files. Should be on ext. Sd card. If so, click on it and you will have the option to uninstall it from there.

No, its gone too...I can't find any trace of it anywhere, but it still shows up...

There is a setting in safestrap in advanced that allows you to uninstall the bootup.

I don't have the file anymore, so all that happens at startup is it will show the SafeStrap page, then goes on to boot up normally. It won't let me hit the menu button to go on INTO safestrap...

Hmm. Does it also have the option to hit search to continue?

When you press menu, what does it do?

It SHOWS those options, and I can hit search to continue, but it continues either way...

There's only 2 options.

FXZ or reroot install and remove safestrap.
