open the app... click uninstall recovery... then go into Manage Apps and uninstall the App normally,,, and make sure you format the internal memory before returning the phone if you don't want any remains of your files on the phone

I think maybe I have tried these backwards. I uninstalled the app BEFORE uninstalling recovery within the app, so now, it no longer shows as an app, but stills shows up on startup. I have already unrooted the phone (Bionic). To remove it completely, do I need to reroot, reinstall safestrap, and uninstall it the way suggested??? Any help anyone can give me will be MUCHO appreciated
Do you still have the safestrap apk file? Look into files. Should be on ext. Sd card. If so, click on it and you will have the option to uninstall it from there.

I don't have the file anymore, so all that happens at startup is it will show the SafeStrap page, then goes on to boot up normally. It won't let me hit the menu button to go on INTO safestrap...
