How do I load drivers to root

I'm totally new at this. I have a razr maxx. I have started with a stock .211 I have successfully flashed .215 leak. I am using matts utility 1.80 I have been enabled usb debugging and set to mtp I chose option for rooting it seems to be loading files and then stop as if it completed but it did not root I'm thinking I did not load drivers first that's my question. How do I load the drivers?

You need to install the drivers that are in the drivers folder inside the utility folder. You also need to have install applications for unknown sources checked.

Yea ok. Forgot about check box to install unknown apps. Do i just double click on the drivers exe file to install that or should it have done that through the option to root if i had box checked to install unknown apps

Maybe not an exe file, but can i double click on it

Drivers are for your computer to be able to read your phone, need to run the exe from your computer.
