Homescreen wallpaper keeps going back to stock after update

Ever since the update, my wallpaper changes back to the Droid stock everyday. Super annoying.
Anybody else have this?

I've suddenly experienced that as well. Not sure if it is related to the OTA or GO Launcher EX update I received.

Are you running an alternative launcher?

Nope. Stock launcher. It's the update.
Unless it changed a setting for wallpapers to change on a daily basis which I am unaware.

My wife's htc started crazy stuff like that after an update. Mainly every time she got a text the background would change on her to a background she never had, then second text her original background would come back.

I'm also having this problem..... I'm also on go launcher. Not sure if anyone else is having problems changing the wallpaper back, but mine only allows me to switch it back after a reboot.

I'm unrooted (with the OTA update) and my wallpaper stays the same on the stock launcher. I'm using Live Wallpapers, if that's a difference.

I'm having the same problem as the OP. Also using stock launcher, NOT using live wallpapers.

I wonder if this update was only tested with live wallpapers??

Ridiculously annoying - would be nice to see this regression fixed.

I had the same problem after the 5.5.893 update. I am a soak tester for Motorola and I made them aware of the issue, but I never heard anything back. Also, I was able to get a wallpaper to stay set to the one I choose instead of using the default after a reboot. If you have not done that yet, it may be worth a try.

It hasn't happened to me in a few days. I removed ADW launcher and Beautiful widgets. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.
