Use folders to organize apps

I tried that but could not figure out how to put the apps in there. Any suggestions?

With a folder and the app on the home screen, long press the app, then drag it to and drop it on the folder to move it there.

Never mind! I just tried it again and it worked this time. User error I believe.

I've been using AppsOrganizer. It's free and lets you organize your apps into folders that you can then place on your desktop. I like it better than the built-in folders in Android 2.0 because you can use custom icons rather than just the generic folder icon, and it lets you associate an app with multiple labels.
