My name's Noah, and I just got the Motorola Droid last night as an early Father's Day gift. Loving it so far, but I'm having some trouble with the SNesoid app. More specifically, I want to play Chrono Trigger on my phone and can't get it working. I downloaded a ROM, as well as ASTRO to unzip it, but that didn't work. Found another ROM at freeroms.com or whatever, but the site won't let me DL it.

Anyway, that's mainly why I'm here for now, lol.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. =)

I've had problems with some roms not being compatible. If you don't mind another $1.99, I heard rom buddy in the market is a great app for getting roms for all types of emulators. I never really use emulators much though so I can't tell you much.

It has a VERY good rating, and from what I heard does very well. If not the best, it's a very good alternative!

Another suggestion is to go into the settings for Snesoid and at the bottom, enable the C Core setting. This is supposed to help with troubled roms... disable it when you use other roms that do not have stability issues.

Hope you find a solution, CT is an amazing RPG.

Also, does it not load or something? The Chrono.smc I have loads all the way through to the start page and I can start creating a character.

After reading through a ton of comments regarding the rom buddy, I'm going to get it.
I'll let you guys know what happens just in case you're interested.

And yeah, CT is amazing. I really hope this works!

I downloaded the ROM buddy APP and 2 minutes later, here i am playing CT!
You guys are the best! Thanks for the advice, and If I run into any trouble I'll keep the C Core setting in mind. Thanks again! =D

I had heard a lot of good things from Rom buddy. Glad you are having good luck with it too!
